I finally put some 650Bs on my original Steamroller. When I first bought this frame from a local cycling friend, I didn't realize the fork was significantly narrower than what comes with the current models, so 650Bs weren't an option for it. I ended up liking how it looked and rode with the Mavic Ellipse/Rene Herse Steilacooms combo I went with, so I decided to stick with them for a while. Toward the end of last year Travis reminded me we had an old fork at the shop that had a little more clearance. He brought it down one afternoon, and after doing some test fitting, I had a pretty good feeling it would work. I finally got around to installing it last Sunday, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
